The Wheel of Brisbane is a 60 metre Ferris wheel which was erected in August of 2008 to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the World Expo 88 and the 150th anniversary of Queensland. The Wheel carries 42 gondolas on a fifteen minute ride with a panoramic view of South Bank, the Brisbane River and the city itself.
